Volunteering

Community Outreach Workers – Must be available Friday evenings from 7pm. Role entails identifying people in need and connecting them with support agencies. Providing a listening ear

Administrator – One or half day each week. Someone with an eye for detail. Ensuring data and records are completed and filed correctly.┬áTraining will be provided

Data entry – One or half day each week. Someone with data entry experience and able to create spreadsheets and adapt accordingly to ensure data is collected in a format that can be easily retrieved for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Someone who can also update spreadsheet of support agencies.┬áTraining will be provided

Volunteer co-ordinator – One day minimum each week. Experienced leader who is able to ensure all volunteers are DBS checked, cleared for prison or probation work if necessary and able to monitor the work that volunteers do.

Prison Workers – Must be available one or half day each week (between Monday and Thursday). Role entails assessing the needs of those within 3 months of release to prepare an action plan for their reintegration. Training will be provided

Camera person – Times are varied and will often take place at events. We need someone who is able to take good quality photographs for website and other publicity purposes.

Video camera operator – We need to record testimonies at the Testimony, Networking and Fellowship events that take place on the evening of last Friday of each month in Brixton. Ideally, it would suit someone who is able to upload videos to a website but training can be sourced for the right committed individual/s.
