Way4ward is a non-profit organisation with a vision to raise the hopes and aspirations of children, young people and adults. We prevent them from entering the criminal justice system and divert them from a life of crime.
We improve the attendance and educational attainment of children and young people, and reduce re-offending by supporting those released from prison and their families.
Our trauma-informed service addresses conflict, violence and the destructive coping strategies young people and adults employ to protect themselves from emotional, mental and physical pain. Way4ward provides specialist high intervention coach mentoring and inspirational workshops to improve mindfulness, distress tolerance, deescalating irrational emotions, overcoming barriers to healthy emotions, and coping with resistance and conflict.
Our aim is to improve their employment prospects and entrepreneurial competence by improving educational attainment. Way4ward uses one to one specialist mentoring, CBT, drama and sport to unlock potential and release mental, physical and emotional barriers to success. Our interventions
